w/ Fall With Me


   This was our first show out of the studio, and it felt good to get back on stage.  It was a treat getting to see Fall With Me send the crowd into a self-destructive fury!  I remember meeting some the FWM guys through the one of the bands Adam and I were in before Spout, and I knew Charlie through my frequent visits to the drum department of Guitar Center.  Kinda funny how we didn't get to share the stage with them until two bands later!  It was a special show to me because my family was in town, ready to head up to PA for a reunion and a wedding.  Despite a few missed cues and no setlists, we had a great time on stage.  However, this was the show that soured me on promoters.   The promoter for the show, after GUARANTEEING us a fixed amount of money for the show, made some bullshit excuses and handed us a $20 bill.  After trying everything from calls, emails, considering getting our legal representation involved, invoking natural disasters, etc.,  we decided to chalk it up to a lesson learned for a band who really needs to make sure we have written guarantees (see HRC Memphis)!
