The first of a selection of shows
with our new rock and roll comrades, Circlefour.
We've booked a couple shows playing together and also got picked
to play the MEIC Lexington Music Conference the same night/ same
venue. We had fun with this show. The club had
a great look to it. We played under two huge statues of
Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe. It had a cool balcony
and a helpful staff. Unfortunately, it also had a
booty-dancing club in the room in front of where we were
playing. Many times we joked that we were the
entertainment for those in the line to get to the booty
dancing. Who can compete with 50 cent these days
anyway? It was fun though. We did
our damage, made good new rockin' friends with the guys from
Circlefour, and went on our merry way. I had a 9 hour
drive ahead of me after this show...within the next week I will
have traveled though 6 states.
