The sports bar version of Spout!
It's a different atmosphere.
We love playing. The better our shows get in Nashville, and
with all the talks of buzz, success, management, labels, production,
radio, fans, crowd, rock, etc... its hard to drive two
hours and play a sports bar. Those who travel with us and
those wonderful Jackson folks who come out and support us make it all
worth while. It's hard not to notice those who would rather
listen to Aaron Tippin' and see who is scorin' the latest
touchdown. We covered our 9:30-1am slot. (whew!!) with a few
surprises and requests. We debuted our little tribute-cover of the
night... "You Know You're Right"...... the unreleased nirvana
song. Nirvana is the entire reason I'm standing there with a
guitar, so why not rock out to this final song? :) Much-o- fun.
It was great to see Jenbug - finally! My ears were previously
blessed with her Bostonian accent. And for those of you who don't know
what I'm talking about, Saak mah Caak !!
