The Exit/In - Nashville
STOMPCLUB 5
w/ 100 Watt Opera, Medicine Mann, Pilot's Lounge, and Gear Driven
Fifth year of the millenium. Fifth day of November.
Fifth annual Stompclub. Five bands. Let's do this.
After being away from the Exit/In since July, we were happy to bring
the rock show back to Elliston Place. We opened up the show nice and
early at 9 to a pretty sizable crowd of SPOUT peeps...and on time! I heard
that a few of you missed the first couple songs thinking we'd be on Spout Time as
usual. We were able to raise lots of money for Second Harvest to donate to
the Katrina victims, and Epiphone gave away a brand new guitar to a random audience
member just for coming to the show! That wasn't all that was given away,
either: we were giving out samplers of a couple of our new songs to anyone
who signed the mailing list.
Everything went smoothly on stage, as it always does at the Exit/In.
Props to Austin for having his game together and making the show sound great!
That place is quickly becoming my favorite venue to play in Nashville. Thanks also
to our cameramen and camerawomen for taking video of the show.
We were able to use that footage to make a press kit that helped us land our awesome new
management! The night continued with cover tunes, debauchery, and a car break-in
on Printer's Alley. Gotta watch yourself down there...nothing is safe!
