ROCK ON \m/

NOVEMBER 23 - 2002

THE END - NASHVILLE

What an amazing show.   First, Fluid Tuesday and Rodney Hotbox put on a great show and man was the crowd pumped or what when it was time for Spout!  After a night of discovering Jack Daniel's hard cola, listening to the new Chevelle album, meeting new people who drove down to see the show, and watching art films, Jason and I were fired up to play.

After soundcheck, we made a quick appearance over at our friends, Love Over Gravity's show downtown.   Then it was time to get ready to rock @ the End.

The crowd is rockin'....jumping, headbanging, screaming, rock hands in the air...... its a beautiful site and makes me so proud to have this band.

After one of our songs, this guy comes up to the stage to shake my hand and says "I told you I'd make it"..    its the lead singer of Tantric, Hugo.

We finish the show and as the crowd screams "One more song...... One more song",  Hugo comes up and asks if we knew any Tantric covers or if he could sing one.    He comes on stage with Spout, I hand him the guitar and he sings his hit "Mourning" while we chil on stage admiring the crowd and staring at the coolest people to be found in Nashville that night.

It was a very cool honor to hear the crowd scream "one more spout song,  one more spout song " even after such a cool visit from Hugo!

We let them vote on which song......
.....and ended up playing both.
