THE SETUP (double meaning)
The performance

and its over...... thank you , good night.

Now you may be asking yourself... did I forget to eat today?
no wait, wrong question..... now you may be asking yourself...
ONE SONG?
Yes..... It's a jackson city ordinance that you can't play outside after
11pm. So of course, we get there and they're running late... and put us
on at 10:55, rather than 10:20. So we play one full song. Then we start
the riff of a new song and the cops come to pull the plug.. So, I start
playing "sweet home alabama"... but it was still
"music"... so I was told to stop. Anyway... they decided to
make this round 2..rather than the finals... and pick the best bands of
THIS night to battle each other YET AGAIN..... this time in Memphis.
Suprise to us....and the club owners... plus we're already booked
that night to play in Chattanooga. Decisions Decisions.....
So.....while every other band played 30-40 minutes.....
6 minutes of SPOUT, was all we needed and all it took to secure a
winning slot.
Not bad, when you think about it.
