SPOUT - 10-High
Atlanta, GA
While most people stay at home and rest when they're sick, we jump on
the interstate and head to Atlanta to play 10-high. I just
remember feeling like crap but enjoying the show. Earlier that
week we had just met with our new producer who made it his mission to
help us turn a few of our 5+minute songs into the reluctantly performed
shorter 3:30 format for a&r/radio versions. This was our first live
show to try out some of the new changes to see if they stuck with us and
much of it felt bloody wonderful.
It's weird... playing or hearing anything for years/months the same way
and then snipping away at it all of a sudden is a mind trip for both the
performer and listener, but once you let yourself hear it as if it's
your first time, then you finally let your guard down and start to
understand why it's being chopped.
One thing that isn't being chopped is the hair lately. If
you think mine and Brandon's hair is long you should see Jason's butt
hair....
kidding.....
Although pictures of it were being sold at our last 2 shows.
