PICKIN PARLOR - NASHVILLE
w/ Thousand Fold
Well, I've started my time off from playing live so I can bury my head
in other things, ya know, like Spout!! Now, days and nights
are spent designing the cd cover, choosing the order, choosing the
songs, mastering the songs, who's the best place to manufacture?
where do we hold the cd release party? time to redesign the site
for the new release! etc.. etc.. many things on the list to
accomplish. You almost forget that all you want to do is
friggin' PLAY music in front of people. So, it was nice to
take a break from the business side and get our booty's to the pickin'
parlor downtown to support our then next-door rehearsal neighbors,
"Thousand Fold". They are a bunch of great guys with a
cool heavy sound :) Check them out.
ironically, we did not bring our heavy sound. This was a chance
for us to finally do a stripped down acoustic show like we've been asked
to do for quite some time.
We got to debut "Do It Again", which was really fun.
Although on a crazy note, it's very cool to play acoustic shows because
people can understand every word you're saying! So imagine my
delight singing "Come and Get It" and "Girl that
Everybody's Had" acoustic. Yes, those were some nice
reactions.
