SPOUT
The Gateway- Nashville, TN
This is one of those last minute shows where our new friends "Lost
Anthem" had asked us to join them over at "The Gateway".
These guys rock.... you can tell they're heavily influenced by Butch
Walker (which is always a plus in my book) and many mentioned "the
Calling" as a comparison. Cool guys... and we hope to rock
with them again soon.
The soundman here kicked ass.. and I loved the well
air-conditioned backstage, haha.. (the things you learn to
appreciate!!)
On the way to find the bathroom, I was stopped and interviewed by the
Nashville Scene's "fashion" column, and was asked everything from
where I got my pants, what I would do if I had $5000 to spend on
fashion, and who I style my so-called "look" after. I said
" Jesus ".
It was on this night we learned we'd start showcasing for labels within
the next week.
We were highly buzzed about that.
