It's been 2 years in the making. We
finally completed our self-titled debut CD,
"Spout". All the recording, all the concepts,
the designs, the pictures, the lyrics, the manufacturing, the
you name it.... its all come to one big summary - and that is
our motherfucking first full-length CD!
and when I say full-length, I mean 69 minutes, baby.
We are very proud of this CD.
It's our other new baby, born only a few weeks after our first
spout baby, the little drummer boy (Aidan James
Hamilton).
We had a great success at the cd release party and enjoyed
playing an extended set with all kinds of cool surprises like Brandon's
"interrrupted" bass-solo, as he calls it - which
kicked major ass, Chad's bad-ass solo, our acoustic set in the
middle, and the piano accompanied encore, Adrenaline.
The crowd was alert and loud, and singing along louder than us
many times throughout the night. Damn, I love that!
My mom and Chad's mom were in the audience, along with many
familiar faces.
It was a wonderful, emotional night filled with the most rockin'
song to the sad ones.
Our buddy Adam, guitar-teching from back stage was very much
appreciated :)
Thanks to all who bought a CD that night. Thanks to all
who ripped down all the promo posters and had us sign
them, Damnit, I wanted one of those! ;)
only kidding..
It didn't take long for it to settle in that we'd be playing
Buzzfest @ the AmSouth Amphitheatre the next day. We were
looking forward to that. :)
