After a nice long drive... some good conversation,  - Jason shitting in random hotels on the way, we arrive in Winston-Salem, NC.  I'd never been in this area before.  It was cool to see places you had no clue you'd ever go until a month or so ago.  We show up, load in... notice the streets are blocked off and it looks like they're getting ready for riverstages 2003, or some major outdoor festival.  Turns out, they just had a huge shindig the night before and we were told  "people in winton-salem rarely go out two nights in a row", hehe.  So we weren't sure what to expect.  It looked like a ghost-town at first.  We meet the band we're playing with "Penny Royalty", a local band... cool guys.  The singer said he thought they should open for us.. and went and asked the club if he could do that, but they said they had already listed it the way it was supposed to be, and the 3rd band backed out. (This also happened the night before in Atlanta).  

This club had a cool vibe to it.  Cool looking stage.  Nice staff.  Cheap beer. ($1)  We knew this would be fun no matter what!  It was really cool being in a new state and a new city I'd never been before and have someone say they came to see the show because they heard from their friend in PA that we rocked.  That's very cool.  There was also those who saw our website and decided to come check it out.  

We got up there... I could hear everything very well on stage.  Great monitor mix.  Great sound.  Did a happy birthday routine to an unsuspecting  girl having a birthday who was visually shocked and embarrased and put her hand on her head. I joked about her hand being stapled to her head from birth and pretty much kept the craziness vibe the whole night.  I had a great time.  

We sold cds, met new peeps, (some pictured to the left) and left with a good vibe about Winston-Salem.

The Manager of the club took us out to get Pizza at a local place @ 2-3am.  Yum.
Then it was back to the hotel for some long awaited sleep.

What did we learn from this experience?
Chad snores.  !!!!!!
